What should I know before coming to practice?

  • Doors to the studio will open around 15 minutes prior to each classes start time.

  • Once inside the studio you will be asked to provide proof of vaccination (for public classes), your instructor will make a note in your account and you will not be asked again.

  • Please remove your shoes before entering any of the studio’s.

  • There is complimentary tea and water in the waiting area, feel free to enter the studio with your beverage and/or water bottle

  • Inside each studio there are complimentary mats and yoga props for use but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

  • Please be mindful of arriving to class on time. We do not have dedicated front desk attendants and the doors are locked 5 minutes after the start of class to protect everyone's belongings during practice.

What are your COVID 19 policies?

To keep our teachers and students safe, we only admit vaccinated students in the studio (during public classes). We encourage our unvaccinated friends to consider our private yoga options.

Uprising ACM creates policy in adherence with the CDC and the mandates set forth by the city of Philadelphia and/or the State of Pennsylvania. We use commercial-grade CDC-approved cleaning products and disinfectants to keep our studio sanitized.

Are students and teachers required to wear masks?

Masks are optional once proof of vaccination is established.

How many students are allowed in public yoga classes?

As of 06/11/2021 we are allowing 15 people per class, which is 50% capacity.

I'm new to yoga, what class should I try?

We feature 2 public beginners classes per week, as well as beginners workshops on a rotating schedule. If you would like a more curated experience (perfect for injury recovery, post-natal exercise, etc) we offer private yoga packages. Gentle flow classes are specifically designed to be accessible to the broadest range of physical capabilities, making them a really great introduction/ re-introduction to practice if the beginner's classes do not line up with your schedule.
